Manuscript Critique & Strategy Intensive

When you’re in the midst of writing a book, it can be difficult to remain objective about what’s working and what’s not. This intensive goes beyond a standard manuscript critique. You get not only my editorial skills but also my business strategy and coaching skills. Let’s take a look at your goals and whether your manuscript helps you achieve them. Book Coaching

Choose an intensive coaching package, typically 1–4 weeks, to help you jump-start your book. Or engage in a longer program, typically three to twelve months, to receive not only project structure and accountability, but editorial feedback and publishing support. Read more about Book Coaching.

Editing & Publishing

When you’ve got a complete manuscript, we’ll give you a custom estimate for editing and publishing. Editing may include substantive editing, line editing or copyediting, as well as proofreading. Publishing typically includes interior book design, cover design, and production logistics for both print and ebook versions. Read more about custom Editing & Publishing.

Ghostwriting & Collaborations

If you prefer to invest in a full creative partnership, we’ll write your book together. While I do most of the actual writing, you are intimately involved in the process. Where We Focus As We Write Your Book

Whether you decide to write DIY-style or partner with me to co-write your book, I offer you my best thinking, my editorial skills, and my unwavering professional support.

In our work on your book project, we focus on three main areas:

  • Strategy – What is your overall business or thought leadership strategy and platform? Who is your audience? What is your book focus and structure? What is your project plan and timeline?
  • Content – Have you clearly articulated your ideas? How fresh is your thinking? Are your ideas organized and accessible? What is the emotional appeal of your book?
  • Craft – How well does your voice come through? Is it expressed with style, good grammar, and clarity?

During our work, you’ll go through the ups and downs of the creative process, but you won’t go through them alone. You’ll have an experienced professional to offer you advice and act as a sounding board.
